Athletics Wellington is the sub area of Athletics New Zealand charged with the promotion and development of athletics in the Wellington Region. The region stretches from the shores of Wellington to Eketahuna in Wairarapa and Otaki on Kapiti Coast Athletics Wellington has recently updated its constitution whereby a board is now in place who manages the Governance of the Sport in the region and several sub committees are appointed to help manage the day to day activities.
