Sport New Zealand (SNZ)
Athletics New Zealand has been designated by Sport NZ, since 2004, as a revitalised sport and has received investment funding for High Performance, Sport Development, Revitalisation, Coaching and Capability. As one of three National Sports Organisation’s in this category, there is an expectation that Athletics will develop governance and management practices that will, over a period of time, move the sport forward at both national and regional levels. This funding and advice from SPARC is in effect the lifeblood of Athletics and without this support the Sport would be unable to function at a national orinternational level. |
