Hawke's Bay Rowing Club, situated at Farndon Domain
on the north bank of the Clive River, about 2km from the mouth.
The first club in the region was formed 1874 in Napier.
Following the 1931 earthquake that lifted the rowing course in
Napier above sea level the club moved to its current location.
Today over 80 rowers keep the club busy competing successfully at
local, national and international events.
